Disgraced U.S. Olympic Chief of Staff Receives $2.4 Million in Severance Settlement 

Scott Blackmun, the former chief executive of the United States Olympic Committee, resigned under pressure last February after receiving criticism for not protecting gymnasts from the national team doctor’s sexual abuse. Last Wednesday, July 4, the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) gave Blackmun a $2.4 million severance pay.
